    1. @Downwardly mobile No. They use false advertising to get them contracted in!

  1. It’s not just broadband and fone companies, everybody right now is profiteering, it’s absolutely disgraceful, I don’t get a cost of living pay rise each year, why should we be paying cost of living rises on everything, I’m worse off each year

  2. Do these clowns understand how expensive it is to provide fibre to every house in the country?! Why have clowns discussing topics like this 🙄

    1. Never easy like defining “poor” or “vulnerable” or trying to define what “Brexit” actually means. There seems to be a feeling that anyone who is successful or who has more money than you is bad! A very sad society.

    2. @Scott Smith but then portraying a successful person or company as morally bankrupt then makes it easy to indulge in things like higher rate income tax and ‘windfall’ taxation which is basically state sponsored theft.

  3. We live in a capitalist society where it’s about supply and demand, get used to it. It’s why flowers and restaurants are more expensive at Valentines, and why holidays are more expensive in the school holidays and turkey costs more at Christmas! The only way you keep prices down is to stop buying and then they drop, but no one would do that. Consumers drive prices, so if they go up, it’s because you are still paying them!

  4. Sky do it all the time.! 0ne or two months in and up go your costs. Zen Internet £29.99 35Mbs . Same price every year for life, as long as you stay with them, no hassle of switching every year.

  5. of course they are over charging they have used old cables in my area for years so they have never paid for nor upgraded them virgin just got put in and thats the only new lines ever in my area, and they still make millions profit after pay going up, if you invest it is for profit from the future not immediate price hikes to pay for it since if you hike from start then it is the customer investing not the provider

  6. Not just broadband but petrol stations, all the energy companies, supermarkets pretty much all the services we use including the lying theiveing corrupt hippocritical scum polititans £2200 pay rise
