    1. @The Tech Giant don’t care try 5g pal for 30 pound a month on three 😂😂😂😂

      Me and virgin are divorced

Wouldn’t touch them again so I am trolling you as you getting ripped off £62 no thanks . 😂😂😂

I’m getting 900 mpbs even over 1 gbps some days on 5g home broadband as my house is quite close to the 5g mast

Not many people in my postcode

If you wanna pay £62 a month virgin be my guest I’m saving £32 a month for 5g as broadband .

    2. so your code is valid just for new customers or existing customers ? Because i want to upgrade mine 350m package to 1gb package

    3. @StupidgameTV dump virgin media this youtube bloke video is a bootlicker to virgin who gullible enough to join vm

    4. i got the upgrade after listening to ur video. Ignore th speed test, sky used to reach all parts of my house. Virgin is poor actually very poor. TV interface is bad as well. Not listening to your advice again.

  2. The hub Ethernet ports only allow 1000mb connect via Wi-Fi and it should get closer to the 1gig mark the hub to the computer speed ( as long as you are getting good Wi-Fi signal to the computer)

  3. HI From my Experience of Upgrading with Virgin Support is a nightmare , at the moment usinsg a super hub 3 and getting a dowload speed via lan of 600 mbps , so i guess i wont see a real increase in speed , thank for the video

  4. 04:58 not too bad? You’re paying for 1gb and get 400….. So unless you’re planning to use the lan connections, is kind of useless

    1. But I do use lan, so not useless.
Plus if you upgrade the router you can improve things even further.
Any provider gives you the speeds from the street to your hub, not from the hub to your devices.

    2. @The Tech Giant sure, but than you are paying for a service that may work as advertised if you are willing to further purches another expensive device ,a wifi6 router that they can’t offer any technical support. What a great deal…not

  5. why didnt they put 2.5 gigabit ports, the wifi on the router is terrible, but the biggest things to take into account is the customer services from VM which is terrible, I have had the 1gig for over a year, yes it reliable, reasonably priced, but the router is not fit for purpose. I use the router in modem mode via nest wifi other wise I’m losing 30-40% of my speed, once virgin realise the hub 5 with 2.5 ports then it will be such a better propersition

  6. I am not going bullying you I guess I going shaggy dog 🐕 you I guess joking 😃 around great 👍 job

  7. It’s great but the RJ45 ports on the Hub 4 are 10/100/1000 so it can’t actually provide 1130 down as advertised but it’s still a very fast download speed, I get around ~ 8-900 down 52 up.

  8. Our home’s connection has been bottlenecking our speeds across two different ISPs. We’re on Sky at the minute, and while we get zero packet loss and low pings, we never exceed 25mbps down, and we often get around 5mbps up.
Virgin is nearly done adding our home to their network though, when I heard they were working on our area I became very excited. When our Sky contract ends, I’m definitely going to consider switching, as I crave faster speeds, and the ability to use a third-party router.
Thanks for this very informative video!

  9. Upload speed of BT 900Mb full fiber way better. It goes more than 110Mb upload speed.

    1. Can’t get that where I live, it Virgin, or the next best only offers around 70 up and 18 down.

    2. @The Tech Giant im with Giganet I get 950 up and down for £40 a month service has been brilliant had it since June the 1st week baby problems after that nothing wrong with it since brilliant isp I can download games on my console super fast now and don’t have to wait hours for them to be done👍

  10. I’ve just got gig1 with virgin and hub 4. Looking at getting a mesh system. Probably tp link x50 or 60. Would I need to put the hub 4 into modem mode or isn’t this necessary? If I do have to, would I connect all the mesh system up first and then put the hub 4 into modem mode last?
